PM Modi is on a day-long visit to his home state Gujarat.In his address, PM Modi called upon the dairy farmers to take up honey farming and bring sweet revolution in the country on the lines of white revolution and green revolution.
PM Modi on Sunday inaugurated Mundra Lng Terminal, Anjar-Mundra Pipeline Project and the Palanpur-Pali Barmer Pipeline Project in Anjar in Kachchh district.Chief Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani was also present at the event.
The PM Modi also remotely inaugurated a Rs 20 crore ice cream plant of Vidya Dairy and Anand Agricultural University’s incubation-cum-centre for excellence in food-processing.
The PM Modi inaugurated several projects of Amul in Anand, including a chocolate plant with a capacity of 1,000 tonnes per month.
Modi said that Kutch has changed in the last 20 years. “Those born after 2001 cannot imagine the lack of development in Kutch. The water problem was acute. Very few people came here. Today, the world is coming to Kutch.”
“We are focussing on Jan Dhan, Van Dhan and Gobar Dhan. This will help our farmers,” said Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his address in Gujarat’s Anand.
PM Modi remembers Sardar Patel and his contribution to the development of the state. Prime Minister said that a century ago, Sardar Patel entered civic politics of Ahmedabad.
PM Modi on Sunday said that the country’s first housing society was set up in 1927 under the leadership of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in Gujarat.
Sardar Patel won from Dariapur. His margin of victory then was 1 vote. “When he assumed office as the head of the municipality, he laid emphasis on urban development, planning and in that he worked on cooperative housing.”
