‘Panun Kashmir’ Solo Album Released By Sikh Youth In Pulwama

PULWAMA: A Sikh Youth from South Kashmir’s Tral hamlet of District Pulwama released his first Solo Song Album ‘Panun Kashmir’ at DC office Pulwama on Monday on the Occasion of Baisakhi festival.

Gurdeep Singh popularly known ‘Deep Singer’ hails from Baygund Tral Pulwama, professionally a physiotherapist, released his maiden Kashmiri Solo Song titled ‘Panun Kashmir.’

Talking to ICN correspondent Gurderp Singh told, I have been singing since the age 15, Intially I used to sing Keertans at local Gurdwara’s, also I had participated in various School Level Competitions including Jammu Got Talent, Fakhri-tral and Voice of Punjab boosted my morale towards singing. I got an oppurtunity to sing with poupular singer Manjeet Singh at Punjab. My song titled “Maa” received 4 and half lakh views on Social Sites and also my “Arbiz Maanz” song was a hit and liked by people.

He added, my friends and followers kept requesting me to sing a song in Kashmiri, honouring the requests of my fanfares and love they have given to my voice I decided to sing and perform this ‘Panun Kashmir’ Solo Song Album which was released today.

Two years ago I composed this Panun Kashmir song and used to sing in front of my friends and often they suggested me to compose and release it.

Gurdeep Sing said ‘Panun Kashmir’ is Multi themed Song focuses around Tourism, and Peace in the Valley.

On the occasion of Album release Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Syed Aabid Rashid Shah; ADC Pulwama, Yaseen Sahan; DIO Pulwama, Tahir Magray and band of the Album and media fraternity were Present.
