This powder-filled delicacy.
Clinches its deals with me.
While the whole world and its cares
Cling to me like bears.
Its dusty flavour entices me
Leaves me in a clutter of emotions.
Lying down in bed
I begin dreaming of biscuits.
Some creamy, some salty.
Puts me in a frenzy
Of ecstasy and delight.
While I take in bite- by-bite.
Last Lockdown I reinstated my love for it.
While I tasted and enjoyed every bite.
It tastes creamier and heavenly.
None can match its taste.
As my taste buds go bonkers
In its wobbly-gobbly flavours.
Tis been my true companion
In all steps of life.
Releasing endorphins
That leave me in a merrier state.
The fruit flavours are blissful.
And out of this world.
Extraordinary, passionate, blissful is the credo.
The cashew ones are richer.
While the dried fruit varieties are delectable;
The best of all is the sandwich crème.
Takes one into another marvellous world
Full of snowy, ice -creamy texture.
While the cream blends with the sugar.
It appears like a blast of vanilla.
Its like a palatal treat
So appetizing and savoury are its tastes.
Like a cherry on top of the cream
Rainbow, multicolour and rosy pink are all its hues.
Blossoming in a huge sheet of cream.
My love for it grows with each passing day
As soft as hay.
And mesmerizing as clay.
Hey, you were meant to tingle and pamper my taste buds.
This real essence of all my happiness.
Is a mouthful of my dear snack- Biscuit.
