NEW DELHI : On 9 March, 2019, evening in Lucknow was something to cherish for lifetime. It wasn’t just meant for the glittery night full of pride and honor, sobriety , elegance, and ear-pleasing words but a celebration held in Paradise Hotel to facilitate the important people in their respective fields. This was quiet a historical and epic event in itself which would not only be known in Lucknow but internationally for years to come because of its historicity, liveliness, and dignity.
The inauguration of this Annual Celebration of ICN, 2019 was done by the Chairman of ICN Group, Shri I.H.Siddique, Chief Advisor and Professor, K.V. Nagaraj, Senior Editor, Shri Rakesh Lohumi, Director of I.T.R.C. Professor Alok Dhawan, Professor Shambhu Nath Singh, Ex VC of Patna University, Vice-Chancellor Anil Kumar Rai of Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari and Senior Executive Editor of ICN Group Shri Tarun Parakash Shrivastav. They enlightened the whole function by lighting diyas.
Senior Executive Editor of ICN Group, Tarun Parakash Shrivastav in his oration welcomed the journalists who had come from the many parts of India and the world, senior advisors and the distinguished awardees. He said that the foundation of the ICN group was set up to bring out the positivity and enforce responsibility in the field of Indian Journalism. Present media has fragmented the societies in pieces just to talk about their so called breaking-news and torturing the people. It is filled with new and coloured news reports, without caring of the deadly situations of the people and just focusing on the TRPs of their channels. ICN is just not in favour of any kind of the ‘BREAKING NEWS’ but an ‘AWAKENING NEWS’. Its aim is not to gain the TRPs but just protecting the nation. The work which ICN is doing for the benefit of the nation and Journalism that same work is done by the various organizations and its people in their region. Their objective is the building of the cultured nation in a complete way. ICN gives full honor to these true Indians and their organizations and accepts their helping hand in the nation build-up.
Last year ICN awarded such 72 peoples and their organizations in their Annual function, but this time, the number increased to 114.
Dr. Shah Ayaz Siddiqui, Editor-in-chief, spoke about the ICN’s past, future and present. He said that it is a ‘not for profit’ organization and a self-made one. It doesn’t accept any governmental help. He also said that they have worked on the important ‘ICN club’ and considered the experts of various fields their help-in-need. All the news is published through these experts only.
In the program, Vice-chancellor of King George’s Medical University Prof. M.L.Bhatt ji, Former Vice-Chancellor, Shambhu Nath Singh of Patna University, Professor Anil Kumar Rai, Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Central University Motihari, Founder of City Montessori School, Shri Jagdish Gandhi ji, Director of I.T.R.C. Prof. Alok Dhawan Ji, Vice-Chancellor of Chandrashekhar Azad University, Kanpur, Dr. Sushil Solomon Ji, and Vice-Chancellor of RML Awadh University, Prof. Manoj Dixit Ji were welcomed through shawl and awarded the momentos and certificates.
In the non-fiction field, ‘Journalism in Digital Era’ (part-1), ‘Journalism in Digital Era’ (part-2), and the book ‘Science of Money’ (English version) by the senior Executive Editor Shri Tarun Parakash Srivastava were praised for their works.
