LUCKNOW: The growth in the living standard of our society is making a person lethargic, lazy & dependant on mechanical devices which develops postural defects, deformity in spine & joints which leads to metabolic diseases.
When I was in medical college, 1991, I saw that there was no specialised treatment in homoeopathy for any particular branch, unlike other medical systems. This made me realise that there is a need of specialisation in homoeopathy. Thus, having interest in orthopaedics, I thought of pursuing it.
I was very afraid to start a specialised practice exclusively for ortho related problems, my father, Mr. Satish Chandra Srivastava, is the one who encouraged me to make a carrier in the field of ortho related problems. He told me about the invention & advancement of light from candle to electric bulb & tube light which inspired me & I thought if they can why can’t I? My mentors Prof. K. C. Mathur, Dr. Vinod Jain, Dr. R.K. Jaiswal & Dr. Naresh Arora guided me to study more in the field of disability rehabilitation and radiology. (In context of disability Rehabilitation, it is a process that assists people with disabilities to develop or strengthen their physical, mental and social skills.)
Thus began my perpetual tail of discovery, Homoeo Ortho Healing.
A correct homoeopathic medicine can act as magic & provide speedy recovery with healing to the patients in chronic & acute complaint but it has some limitations also like it’s difficult to manage deformity, disability, gait defect etc.
It is practically difficult for any physician to treat each and every problem of every patient to its full extent, hence me & my wife Dr. Mamta Pankaj decided to concentrate our energy on Orthopaedic problems and Disability management.
Every disease has a cause & it’s the physician’s duty to find the root cause & treat the disease, to reduce Metabolic, Medicinal, Postural & Injury oriented complications, a special alternative system of treatment with Homoeopathy comes to light i.e. Homoeo Ortho Healing.
I am doing Specialised Practice on ortho problems with Homoeo Ortho Healing since 1999 at Lucknow, the city of Nawabs.
To develop this new thought of specialised practice, along with Graduation & Post Graduation in Homoeopathy I have done diplomas & PG Diploma in The Field of Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Disability Management & Dietary management
I plan to develop a pattern of treatment for orthopaedic diseases by conservative methods such as physical therapy, physical medicine & homoeopathic medicine in which we can rehabilitate the patients from their pain & discomfort to make them walk with ease, sit properly & improve their life style.
