LUCKNOW: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh filed nomination from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. Rajnath also held a massive roadshow before filing his nomination.The home minister Rajnath Singh was accompanied by Deputy chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Dinesh Sharma.Mahendranath Pandey, party’s spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi, Minister Brajesh Pathak,MP Kalraj Mishra and JD-U General Secretary K.C. Tyagi were present at the roadshow.After praying at the Hunuman Setu Mandir here, he reached the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters from where he started the roadshow.Speaking at the BJP office, Singh said India is moving forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.Heavy security arrangements were put in place for Singh’s roadshow.Five camels were part of the roadshow and the party workers were seen taking selfies with the animals.
