Geeta Kapur will be the first woman Functional Director in the company born 30 years ago.
SHIMLA: Geeta Kapur, General Manager ( HR ) at SJVN Limited has been selected as Director (Personnel ) of public sector SJVN Limited by the Public Enterprises Selection Board at an interview held at Delhi today. She was one among the 09 candidates including 6 from SJVN.
She competed successfully against senior level candidates like Director, Executive Director, Chief General Manager of various PSUs including BSNL, STC, NEEPCO etc.Geeta Kapur will be the first woman Functional Director in the company born 30 years ago.
She succeeds N.L. Sharma who was appointed as CMD of the Company in November 2017.Born on 8th April 1964, Geeta had her early education from Loreto Convent Shimla and graduated from St. Bede’s College.
Later she did her MBA (HR) from Himachal Pradesh University. She joined SJVN (nee NJPC ) as Personnel Officer in 1992
