NEW DELHI: Women have always intrigued men, either by their look, attitude, feelings and thoughts. It is always very famously quoted that any man can’t claim that he understood any woman well either as a wife, lover, mother and sister fully and well in his life. But good thing is that still men and women enjoy the company of each other because God has mad both these distinct entities for each other.

The best way to know about the fascinating and intriguing inner world of any woman is through her own writings, especially, autobiographies and biographies. Other popular literary forms like novels, short stories and poems also help in this endeavor.

From time to time, women have dared to bare themselves on the pages of books in various ways and styles. Each expressed themselves in distinct ways. Some of such writings are now being considered great piece of literature.

Indian women achievers have also done quite considerably well. Who can forget such books like Raseedi Ticket by Amrita Pritam, No holds Barred by Amita Malik and scores of such other autobiographies.

Haqqani Al Qasmi has very painstakingly compiled a journal exclusively based on the same theme. He publishes a magazine, ANDAZ-E-BAYAN AUR, in Urdu, every three months, focussing on any one burning issue. So far, he has successfully brought many such issues and extracted good praise from the serious readers of Urdu literature.

This issue of the month, May 2016 to July 2016 is exclusively based on the autobiographies by women writers and achievers in their chosen fields like literature, social work, politics, medicine and other popular fields.

In this issue, not only the writings of Urdu writers have been discussed, but all great works in world literature available. It is a pleasurable reading as well as very informative and intellectually stimulating.

I congratulate Haqqani Al Qasmi for publishing such beautiful magazine in Urdu. These every issues of Andaz-e-Bayab Aur should be translated in other languages also, especially in Indian languages, so a great number of people could benefit from it. I earnestly request the literary art loving people to come foreward and help in disseminating this important source of information to others. Big publishing houses and institutes should take this task in their own hand on priority basis.

This magazine can be bought by placing an order directly to the editor at haqqanialqasmi@gmail.com
