England is into its first World Cup final in 27 years, after easily beating Australia by eight wickets in their semi-final at Edgbaston.

Earlier, Australia were bundled out for 223 despite Steve Smith’s 85.Australia fast bowler Mitchell Starc set a new record for most wickets at a single World Cup when he had England’s Jonny Bairstow lbw in the semi-finals at Edgbaston on Thursday.New Zealand awaits the winner at Lord’s on Sunday. The Blacks Caps successfully defended 239-8 in the first semifinal against India.Australia hasn’t lost any of its seven World Cup semifinals.Eoin Morgan has completed 4,000 ODI runs as the skipper of England and overall he is the 13th captain to achieve this feat. Morgan reached the 101 innings.
