Creativity Hacks

The creativity has no bounds and should remain so. Let you unveil all your potentials and mark the show. But it is not that easy so as at times you find the whole stream of ideas pumping in while at times you sit with a fishing rod and no fishy idea catches up.

And I know, you can’t sit the hippo way. So here follows the hacks for you:

1. Be with the nature even if you find that it is your workplace or the studio where you have been creating since ages. But still take a break and release yourself. Enjoy the beautiful elements of it and do basic physical exercises there. Jog or swim or just walk a couple of steps. Shed our worries and clear your mind. It pays back.

2. I still remember the times when I used to go to local tea stall with my buddies and share all the fun. The tea-seller is an old guy now but that place is a cordial place to make new friends and converse even with strangers. The people there are full of ideas and have their own way of life. You never know when an idea can come from places like this. Make the venue an ordinary one not the typical big cafe that you have been hanging out till date.

3. You might be a classical writer but change it for a while. Read the non-fiction or a poetry collection. Do the unusual and change your taste buds for a while. You will come back with a freshened up smile, dear!

4. Hey, there is my guru who taught me to be myself. He unleashed my creativity and we share an age lot of difference. This difference is full of experiences he has and I know he can always help me out and that too with a smile. I love him for the same, always. Go and meet your mentor.

5. Change your work environment. Add new flairs to it. It might include changing the devices or the pen or the strings of guitar or whatever you are into. Have a new technology around or try using a new App. It may not be a comforting lap but yeah, it will spark creative juices in your nerves.

6. Can you recall a friend or a distant relative or someone with whom you didn’t actually open up. Share your creations and your dreams. Share your tunes or the recipes. The new flavour is about to be created. Their response and suggestions at times may turn into a booster for you.

  1. Exchange the roles. If you were the musician, it is time to sing the song. If you were the singer, now it is the time to beat the drum. If you are a sportsperson, get into the shoes of a chef or any bla bla bla kind of exchanges. Enjoy the fun and laugh at the nuances that you create. Just enjoy!
  2. Kidnap yourself. Move out to some remote place and be without your basic apparatuses such as your mobile and lappy. Buy the repeat tickets of the show and watch it the craziest way you can.
  3. Be a window-shopper. Go to the exhibitions and meet the people there. Support the artist in your way. Develop the network. The creators need to inspire and support each other. Follow this golden rule. The networking pays back and pays in volumes.
  4. Get into better attire in the sense that you need to add colours and flavours to your creativity. If you have been sketching with a pencil, now it is time to experiment with colour pens or with a brush. If you sing western, do infuse the classical tunes. You will be a new creative soul in making.
