SHIMLA: The Public Enterprise Selection Board ( PESB), Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India has recommended the candidature of Akhileshwar Singh for the post of Director (Finance), in Public Sector SJVN Limited. Akhileshwar Singh is presently Chief General Manager (Finance) of the Company and heading the Finance department. Interviews for the post were held at New Delhi on 21st AUGUST 2019. He will succeed A. S. Bindra who superannuates on 31st December 2019.
Born on 11th December 1964, Akhileshwar Singh acquired Master of Business Management in Finance from Patna University. Later he started his career with Hindustan Paper Corporation Limited in December 1987. He joined SJVN Limited (then NJPC) on 25th September 1993. A very humble and amicable Akhileshwar has always been concerned about the welfare of company employees at large.
With his selection , SJVN will have all the Directors on the Board from within the company.
