Mir quoted “his entire crew is very excited with the release of the movie as it’s the first ever independent movie of Kashmir releasing outside J & K. Before Kashmir Daily also movies got release outside the valley but all had some Bollywood connection. It took almost 3 and half years to finish the shooting of the movie due to lack of funds. The Government and other private Organisation is also not very supportive over there as film fraternity of J & K is also sitting idle for past few years. To shoot in Kashmir is not very easy but also not impossible. He said patience pays and they are collaborating outside J & K.”

He had already acted in Bollywood as a supporting actor but in Kashmir Daily, he is the lead actor and has lots of responsibilities. Being an actor, he had experimented a lot in the movie. Besides being an actor he has experience in camera work, action sequel, direction, writing. Hussein Khan and he have both acted in the movie. When Hussein is in front of the camera, Sarwar is handling the directional part and vice-versa. They both have the zeal to establish Kashmir film industry.

He said mostly the people in Kashmir depends on doordarshan, and very few shows their interest in the filmmaking due to the lack and unfuctioning of cinema hall. But he believed that they have to potential to make good and inspiring movies and they should come forward. . He wants to make paths for the coming filmmakers of Kashmir to flourish the Kashmir Film Industry. They can’t compete with Bollywood and Hollywood but have the potential to produce movies. Unless and until the filmmakers do not come with their regional story we will not be able to get to know the story

Today there are a lot of open platforms like YouTube, National and International Film festival to present the regional films. PVR has also opened a door for upcoming filmmakers He said Friday onwards, the film would be screened at PVRs of different cities like Jammu, Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Udaipur, and Bangalore.
